Asem Owais also served as Manager of Cost & Financial Analysis at Jordan Carbonate Company LLC, where financial statements were prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Earlier career experience includes a role as a Credit Analyst at Arab Bank plc, focusing on credit opportunities and financial analysis. Asem Owais holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Jordan and completed CMA certification at the Institute of Certified Management Accountants in New Jersey, USA, in 2005.

The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts, a member of the EHL Network of Certified Schools, is a technical university college which provides Bachelor and Diploma programs, founded in 2008 to fulfill the vision of his Majesty King Abdullah II of having a culinary school in Jordan operating at the highest international standards, and to introduce the Swiss experience of merging practical and hands-on training with academic education.
