Asem Owais

Asem Owais is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) with extensive experience in financial management. Currently serving as the Financial Controller at the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts since May 2008, Asem Owais has established the legal, financial, and IT frameworks necessary for the organization during its inception phase. Previously, Asem Owais held the position of Group Financial Manager at EMCOR Facilities Services Group, overseeing group financial statements and cash flow management. Asem Owais also served as Manager of Cost & Financial Analysis at Jordan Carbonate Company LLC, where financial statements were prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Earlier career experience includes a role as a Credit Analyst at Arab Bank plc, focusing on credit opportunities and financial analysis. Asem Owais holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Jordan and completed CMA certification at the Institute of Certified Management Accountants in New Jersey, USA, in 2005.
