Katie Hagan is a seasoned communications professional with a diverse background in dance writing and public relations. Currently serving as the Press and Communications Manager at the Royal Academy of Dance, Katie also founded the Dance Art Journal, an online platform dedicated to exploring the impact of dance on culture. With extensive freelance writing experience, Katie has contributed to leading dance publications and held positions such as Press and PR Manager at The Place. Additional expertise includes copywriting for various clients in the built environment, gained during tenure at Fabrick, and early roles in editorial support at the World Obesity Federation and Claret Press. Katie's academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Shakespeare Studies from King's College London and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Goldsmiths, University of London.
