Lee Davall has a diverse work experience in the field of dance education. They currently hold the position of Executive Committee Member (Secretary) at the Society of Dance Research. Prior to this, they were the Head of Learning and Teaching and Masters of Arts Education (Dance Teaching) Programme Manager at the Royal Academy of Dance. At Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA), they served as the Director of Dance and Lead Tutor. They also worked as the Leader of the House System and Teacher of Dance at Highbury Grove School and as a Maternity Cover Teacher of Dance at Glenthorne High School. Lee Davall started their career as a Freelance Dance Teacher on the Step into Dance Programme at the Royal Academy of Dance.

Lee Davall has a diverse education history. From 2004 to 2007, they attended the London Contemporary Dance School where they pursued a degree in Contemporary Dance. In 2008 and 2009, they studied at the Royal Academy of Dance, completing a PGCE in Dance Teaching with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). From 2011 to 2013, Davall pursued further education at the Royal Academy of Dance, earning a Master of Teaching Dance (MTD) degree with a specialization in Dance Education. Lee'smost recent educational endeavor began in 2022 at the University of Bath, where they enrolled in a Doctor of Business Management program with a focus on Higher Education Management.
