Ian Shott

Ian Shott is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. As the Executive Chairman of Shott Trinova since 2012, Ian has provided strategic and transactional advice to a variety of companies. In December 2022, Ian became the Executive Chairman of Ingenza Ltd after acquiring a controlling interest. Ian serves as a Non-Executive Director at Quotient Sciences, where the acquisition of Arcinova in 2021 led to subsequent board membership. Ian has held prominent positions such as Fellow at The Royal Academy of Engineering, Chairman of the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre, and Lead for Accelerated Innovation at the Chemistry Growth Partnership. Ian also has prior experience as Executive Chairman of Arcinova and Non-Executive Director of Sterling Pharma Solutions. With educational credentials from Imperial College London and INSEAD, Ian combines a strong technical background with a focus on innovation in the industry.
