The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia
The Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia (RASWA) is the State's oldest member-based not for profit organisation, working to promote WA's primary industries and rural communities. We have close links to regional agricultural societies and livestock breed societies and support community and sporting groups through our management of Claremont Showground. Regional and agricultural students are encouraged through our involvement in educational scholarships and competitions which enhance the skills and opportunities of young people. RASWA manages the Perth Royal Show, which holds competitions, benchmarking excellence across a range of industries including wine making, beer production, dairy, food production, clothing production, the arts, and sport. We also recognise the achievements of individuals through the Agricultural Hall of Fame, the Rural Community Achiever and the Rural Ambassador competitions.
