Khaled E Ahmed

Khaled E Ahmed serves as the Director of the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program and Associate Professor of Restorative Dentistry & General Practice at the University of Melbourne since February 2024. Additional roles include Dental Educator at the Dental Council of New Zealand and Fellow at the International College of Dentists, both since June 2023 and December 2022 respectively. Khaled holds prestigious positions such as an appointed member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery Global Oral Health Committee at The Royal College of Surgeons of England, and MRACDS Examiner at the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons since January 2020. Previous academic appointments include Senior Lecturer in Prosthodontics at Griffith University and Clinical Assistant Professor of Operative/Conservative Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong. Khaled's extensive education includes several fellowships and degrees in dental surgery, restorative dentistry, and law, culminating in a Ph.D. from the University of Glasgow.
