Ruth Haines

Ruth Haines is currently the Head of Opera Press at the Royal Opera House since April 2024. Previously, Ruth served as the Press & PR Manager for the London Philharmonic Orchestra from August 2021 to April 2024, and held various roles including Press Manager and Press Officer at REBECCA DRIVER MEDIA RELATIONS LLP from May 2015 to August 2021. Ruth has successfully led client campaigns for notable clients such as Roxanna Panufnik and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and has a strong background in writing PR strategies, press releases, and managing media relations. Ruth's early career includes roles at WildKat PR as a Public Relations Intern and at The Agency Group in the Performing Arts Department. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics from the University of Leicester, completed in 2014.
