Amir Aghaei

Amir Aghaei is a Senior Software Developer at RBC since October 2024 and a Research Assistant at McMaster University since August 2022, focusing on deep reinforcement learning agents for digital twins in wireless networks. Additionally, Amir served as a Teaching Assistant for courses in Computer and Communication Networks and Advanced Programming. Previous experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer at SOTI, where design and development of smart chatbots optimized for managing over 50,000 devices took place, and a Signal Processing Engineer at Aranuma, where various algorithms for data preprocessing and pattern recognition were implemented. Amir also contributed to IoT platform development at Aranuma, creating software architectures for sensor data streaming and modeling IoT data with deep learning methods for predictive analytics. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Engineering at McMaster University, Amir holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
