Heather Mathers

Heather Mathers currently serves as the Director of GRM Insurance - Digital and Agile Initiatives at RBC, focusing on supporting digital and agile projects while managing risk according to the enterprise's framework. Previously, in her role as Director of Data Management, Mathers oversaw data governance initiatives and established the Data Management Office to ensure compliance with RBC's risk management policies. With a strong background in business systems analysis and project leadership from roles at RBC Insurance and Aviva Canada, Mathers has successfully led teams to deliver technology solutions and improve processes. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Certificate in Risk Management from the University of Toronto.
