William Gardner

William Gardner serves as the Director and Managing Counsel for Cash Management Services and Commercial Deposits at RBC since July 2023, providing dedicated legal counsel for the development of a new Transaction Banking business. Prior to RBC, William held the position of Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel at PNC, offering legal support for treasury management initiatives from November 2019 to June 2023. William's experience also includes significant roles at HSBC, where legal counsel was provided for Global Liquidity and Cash Management, and 3rd Fed Bank as Vice President and General Counsel, focusing on strategic opportunities. Earlier professional experience includes positions as a Business Transaction Attorney and Business Attorney. William holds a JD from Widener University Schools of Law and a dual BS in Chemistry and Biology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
