Chris Read

Chris Read is an experienced professional in real estate development and regeneration, currently serving as Interim Programme and Project Lead for the Royal Borough of Greenwich since October 2019, focusing on major regeneration schemes in Woolwich town centre. As Director of Blackshore Property Limited since April 2012, Chris has led consultancy and development management for various regeneration initiatives. Previous roles include Development Director at Willmott Dixon Regen, where responsibilities included a significant mixed-use project, and Head of Development (UK & Europe) at HDG Mansur, overseeing a major £255m development in Bristol. Chris has also held directorial positions at Amec Developments Limited, managing large-scale urban regeneration schemes, and Development Securities PLC, focusing on maximizing shareholder value through high-quality developments. Chris holds a BSc (Hons) in Land Management and Real Estate Development from the University of Reading.
