Steve Mappley has extensive experience in risk management and insurance, currently serving as the Insurance and Risk Manager for the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead since 2004. Responsibilities include determining and reporting on the council's risk management strategy, organizing financial protections through self-insurance arrangements, and overseeing associated external catastrophe cover. Additionally, Steve has been a member of the alarm south east committee since 1999 and previously held the role of Principal Risk Management and Insurance Officer at the London Borough of Merton from 2000 to 2004, as well as an Insurance Assistant at Age Concern England in 1986-1987. Steve holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Brighton, earned between 1987 and 1990.
