John Stacey

John Stacey is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Cyber Security at the Royal Canadian Mint since February 2021, John previously held positions such as Senior Analyst in Cyber Security at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat from October 2014 to February 2021, and Manager of IT Operations and Secure Networks at the Canada Border Services Agency from October 2011 to October 2014. John's career began at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada, where responsibilities included Team Lead for IT Security and contributions to Emergency Management and Business Continuity Planning. Additionally, John served as A/Manager of IT Security at EDS Canada from March 1998 to December 2006 and has a solid educational background with a diploma from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.
