Jeff Ball

Jeff Ball is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information management and governance. Currently serving as the Director of Open Government and Data Governance at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police since June 2020, Jeff has previously held the role of Director IM/IT at the National Headquarters. Prior to this, Jeff was the Director of Open Government at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat from September 2019 to June 2020. Jeff's career at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police began in June 2005, leading to positions including Director of Information Management and Manager of IM Policy, along with various roles in information management. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree with a concentration in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Ottawa, earned between 2000 and 2003.
