João Mendonça

João Mendonça serves as the Corporate Director of Hotel Operations at Royal Caribbean Group, a position held since November 2010, where responsibilities include managing hotel experiences on the largest cruise ships in the world, including Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, and Harmony of the Seas. Previous roles at Royal Caribbean Group include Fleet Director of Food and Beverage Operations and Hotel Director, as well as Associate Hotel Director, where João Mendonça managed hotel and food and beverage operations. Prior experience at Royal Caribbean International from January 2006 to November 2010 as Newbuilding F&B Director involved spearheading food and beverage operations and the concept creation of specialty restaurants for five new ships, including the Oasis and Allure of the Seas. João Mendonça's educational background includes hotel management courses at Cornell University, high leadership courses at Florida International University, and a Certified Hospitality Supervisor designation from the American Hotel and Motel Association.
