Dan Phillips

Dan Phillips serves as the People and Places Studio Leader at the Royal College of Art's Intelligent Mobility Design Centre and is also a Service Design Tutor and Project Manager. Since June 2019, Dan has provided expertise in design strategy at Design Science. Previous roles include Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College London and Director at Eight Associates, focusing on sustainable development. Dan's experience extends to significant positions such as Global Director of Sustainability at Buro Happold, where important sustainability governance platforms were developed. Dan's educational background includes a Master of Studies in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering in Total Technology, Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
