Debbie Docherty

Debbie Docherty is an experienced mentor and coach currently working with the Royal College of General Practitioners since March 2016, where involvement includes providing coaching support to Practice Managers and the primary care team. As a Consultant - Practice Manager Adviser, Debbie has successfully helped numerous practices improve their quality ratings post-CQC inspections. Additionally, as a Healthcare Leadership Management Facilitator at Health Education England, Debbie facilitates feedback sessions for 360-degree reports, promoting behavioral change among managers. Since January 2016, Debbie has served as a Director at Ably Consulting, offering interim management and compliance support. Debbie has also held the position of Practice Business Manager at a large GP practice in Harrogate for over five years. Educational qualifications include a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Institute of Leadership and Management and further training in Coaching and Mentoring from the Faculty of Medical Coaches.
