Laura Baker

Laura Baker has over a decade of experience in event management, currently serving as the CPD Events Team Manager at the Royal College of General Practitioners since December 2012, where Laura manages a team of up to 15 staff and oversees clinical CPD events for primary care professionals across England. Previous roles include Events Operations Manager and Events Executive, with responsibilities ranging from event creation to delivery, as well as Event Coordinator at IHS, managing UK events and delegate logistics for large-scale international conferences. Laura also has experience as a Registrations Administrator at YourRecruit and as an Events Administrator at CIPD. Laura holds a degree in Art, Music & Entertainment Management from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, completed between 2003 and 2006, and graduated from Sutton High School for Girls in 2001.
