Carol Stevenson

Carol Stevenson is an experienced fundraising professional with a diverse background in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Fundraising at The Royal College of Surgeons of England since August 2018, Carol has also held significant positions such as Philanthropy Campaign Specialist at Sense and Head of Major Gifts at The Greenwich Foundation For The Old Royal Naval College. Additional expertise includes leadership roles at Media Trust and Royal Free Charity, where Carol focused on development and major gifts. Carol's early career features interim positions at Leap Confronting Conflict and Somerset House Trust, alongside significant volunteer contributions in fundraising strategy. Carol holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Media and Journalism from the University of Strathclyde and a Master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Glasgow.
