Dr Mike Parker

Dr. Mike Parker currently serves as the NMC Correspondent at The Nursing and Midwifery Council since July 2018, while also holding the position of Associate Professor in Emergency Nursing at the University of York since February 2015, where promotion to Senior Lecturer in Emergency & Unscheduled Care was achieved in the 2016/17 academic promotions round. Dr. Parker has extensive involvement in advanced life support training as the Course Director and Instructor at the Resuscitation Council (UK) and is an ATNC Instructor with the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Additionally, Dr. Parker contributes to various editorial boards, including the International Journal of Emergency Nursing and the Emergency Nurse. With a robust academic background, Dr. Parker earned a Doctor of Education from the University of Hull and holds multiple nursing diplomas and degrees, including a BSc (Hons) in Acute & Critical Care.
