Louise Steele Saukila

Louise Steele Saukila, MA BMBCh MRCS, currently serves as a Neurosurgery Resident at Leeds General Infirmary since February 2024 and has held various roles including Officer for Students with Caring Responsibilities at the Students' Union UCL since September 2021 and a Researcher PhD Student at the UCL Cancer Institute since September 2020. Louise has a history of leadership as an Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor with The Royal College of Surgeons of England and previously served as a Neurosurgery Resident at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Cancer Research from UCL and degrees in Medicine (BMBCh) from the University of Oxford and Pre-Clinical Medicine (MA) from the University of Cambridge.
