Jill MacDonald

Jill Macdonald is an experienced veterinary professional currently serving as the VN Futures Project Lead at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons since January 2019, where responsibilities include leading the VN Futures Project and collaborating with various stakeholders to address the needs of the profession. As the owner and director of ONCORE ePD since March 2012, Jill focuses on delivering personalized online education for veterinary practices. Previous roles include associate teaching fellow in Veterinary Communication Skills at the University of Surrey, veterinary nurse at Vets4Pets Redditch, and locum professional and communication skills teacher at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Jill's extensive background also includes coordinating Professional Skills Training at the University of Liverpool and serving as head veterinary nurse at The Veterinary Health Centre for over a decade. Academic qualifications include a Certificate in Professional Studies in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Liverpool and a Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons/British Veterinary Nursing Association.
