Kim Nelson

President & CEO at Royal Containers

Kim naturally joined Royal Containers, her father’s company, in 1992 when she graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) degree.

There’s nothing quite like working for your father to ensure that you do every job that exists in the company, and she collected an extensive understanding of the business in the process. Kim became President and CEO of Royal in 2009 and is the Chairman of the board and a part-owner of both Tencorr Packaging and Greenpac Mill. Encouraged by her father to join, Kim went on to serve as President of AICC Canada in 2000 and Chairman of AICC international in 2010, Kim is currently the Overseas Director of AICC and business advisor to several other companies.

Kim is a passionate supporter of sport and athletes in the community, and she is a 16-time Ironman finisher.
