Theo Lam

Theo Lam is a Professor of Bovine Mastitis and Milk Quality at Utrecht University, Department of Farm Animal Health, a position held since October 2011. Concurrently, Theo Lam serves as the R&D Manager at GD Animal Health and has held various leadership roles within the organization since January 2006, including Manager of R&D and Director of the Dutch Udder Health Center. Prior to these roles, Theo Lam was a Veterinary Practitioner and partner at De Graafschap Veterinary Services from October 1997 to January 2006, focusing on ruminant herd health. Theo Lam began academic pursuits as a PhD Student and Assistant Professor at Universiteit Utrecht from March 1990 to October 1997, contributing to research on herd health and reproduction. Educational qualifications include a DVM and PhD in Veterinary Science from Utrecht University, completed in 1997.
