Baroness Lynda Chalker

Baroness Lynda Chalker is a prominent figure in the realms of business and development, serving as the Founder and President of Africa Matters Limited since 1997, where the organization collaborates with multi-national corporations, SMEs, governments, and NGOs to enhance private sector investment in African development. Additionally, Baroness Chalker holds the position of President at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) since June 2018 and founded The Chalker Foundation for Africa in 2007. Previous roles include Chairman of Pasco Risk Management from 2010 to September 2013 and Non-Executive Director at Unilever from 1998 to 2007.
