Jasbir Basi Frgs

Jasbir Basi FRGS is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate affairs, communications, and policy development. Currently serving as Head of Corporate Affairs (Enterprise) at SSE plc and as a Fellow at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG), Jasbir has held significant roles such as Senior Associate (Energy) at Global Counsel and International Communications Lead for the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference. Previous positions include Communications and Engagement Manager for the Williams Rail Review at the Department for Transport, Senior Policy Adviser at the Confederation of British Industry, and freelance climate change and energy researcher. Academic qualifications include an MSc with distinction in Environmental Policy and Regulation from The London School of Economics and a BA in Geography from UCL.
