Fabiana Chubbs

Fabiana Chubbs has extensive experience in the finance and accounting field. Fabiana worked at Royal Gold Inc. as a Corporate Director starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at Lithium Americas Corp. since June 2019.

From 2007 to 2018, Fabiana worked at Eldorado Gold Corporation, where they served as the Chief Financial Officer from June 2011 to April 2018. Fabiana also held the role of Treasurer and Risk Manager from July 2007 to June 2011.

Before joining Eldorado Gold Corporation, Fabiana worked at PwC Canada from 1996 to 2007, where they held various roles including Senior Manager Accounting and Assurance Services, Manager Assurance and Business Advisory Services, and Assistant Manager, Audit Services.

Fabiana started their career at IBM in 1994 as a Senior Tax Analyst, before moving to PwC Argentina in 1988, where they worked as a Senior Tax Auditor until July 1994. Overall, Fabiana Chubbs has a strong background in finance, accounting, and auditing.

Fabiana Chubbs earned their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) degree from the University of Buenos Aires, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the same university, completing their studies from 1989 to 1992.

After their initial educational endeavors, Fabiana went on to attain the designation of C.P.A. (Chartered Professional Accountant) from CPA Canada in 2001. In 2012, they further expanded their qualifications by becoming an Accredited Director through ICSA Canada.

Currently, Fabiana is working towards a CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University, with an expected completion date of 2023.
