Thomas Matthews

Thomas Matthews is an experienced resource geologist and technical manager with a robust background in geologic modeling, resource estimation, and technical due diligence within the mining industry. Currently serving as the Technical Manager for Resource Geology at Royal Gold Inc. since November 2021, Thomas reviews geological data to support new business opportunities. Previously, Thomas held the role of Chief Technical Officer at Endomines and was a Principal Resource Geologist at Gustavson Associates, where responsibilities included resource estimates and financial modeling for feasibility studies. With extensive experience at Minefinders Corporation in various roles including VP of Information Systems, Thomas has honed skills in data integration, geostatistics, and project management. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Rochester.
