Arno van Smeden has extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Arno currently works at Royal HaskoningDHV as the Global Lead Recruiter for Digital, Mobility & Environment Consultants. In this role, they oversee the entire recruitment process for the business line Digital and the business unit Mobility & Environment Consultants, focusing on digital, IT, data, engineering, corporate, executive/c-level, mobility, and environment consultant roles.

Before transitioning into talent acquisition and recruitment, Arno worked in various HR roles, including as a Team Lead Recruitment at TWIT b.v. and as an HRM Consultant at ProRail. Arno also gained experience as an Outdoor Training Instructor at Outing Holland and as an HRM-Professional at Intertwine.
Arno van Smeden completed a Master's degree in Culture, Organization & Management with a specialization in Change & Intervention from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2006 to 2009. In 2004 to 2005, they received certification from Academy Counselling & Coaching as a Coach. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Saxion University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2003.
