Ben Edmondson

Ben Edmondson is a Fullstack Software Engineer at Royal HaskoningDHV, leading the development of Smart Mooring services since February 2024. Previously, Ben worked at Alliander, creating data-driven applications for cost estimation in the energy sector and overseeing the architecture and quality of a team’s code base. Ben has also contributed as a Software Engineer at ElastIQ-Connect and served as a Software Developer at Royal HaskoningDHV, where responsibilities included modernizing engineering workflows by developing applications using Python and VueJS. Earlier experience includes a structural engineering role at Iv-Infra, focusing on the collision resistance of Fibre Reinforced Polymer lock gates, and an internship at KH Engineering. Ben holds a Master of Science in Hydraulic/Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
