Heleen van Essen

Heleen van Essen has extensive experience in various roles related to talent management, leadership development, and organizational development. Heleen is currently the Head of Integrated Talent Management at Royal HaskoningDHV since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Philips from 2017 to 2020 in roles such as Head of Leadership Practices and Programs and Integrated Talent Partner. Heleen also worked at Korn Ferry Hay Group from 2007 to 2017, where they were involved in leadership development, organizational development, and talent management projects. Heleen started their career as a Senior Consultant at MeyerMonitor in 2004, responsible for survey projects. Previously, they served as an HR Manager at Unilever from 2001 to 2004 and also worked as a project member at DSM in 2001.

Heleen van Essen attended the University of Twente from 1995 to 2001, where they pursued studies in Industrial Engineering and Management. In 2020, they obtained a certification in "Having Career Conversations with Your Team" from LinkedIn.
