Neil Hewitt

Neil Hewitt is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and development management. Currently serving as the Head of Software Engineering for Royal Mail since November 2019, Neil oversees software development operations for core technology platforms, including the Postal Digital Assistant utilized by 80,000 staff. Previous roles include VP Engineering at Lineup Systems, Head of Development at Fourth and Euromoney Institutional Investor, and Head of Technology at RICS, where Neil demonstrated capabilities in leading both in-house and offshore teams in delivering various SaaS solutions and digital projects. Neil's career also includes roles at TwentySix London, JKD, and Centaur Communications, highlighting a progression from technical management to senior leadership. Neil holds a BA in Combined Honours from the University of Exeter.
