Gijs Brandenburg is a seasoned professional in enterprise resiliency, security consulting, and information management, currently serving as the Managing Director at CTRL Disrupt since August 2022, where expertise is offered in governance, risk, strategy, and transformation. Gijs also holds the position of Security & Enterprise Architect a.i. at the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, significantly focusing on risk-based enterprise architecture. As a Security Consultant at Brandenburg Advisory, Gijs specializes in IT security and enterprise architecture solutions, while contributing as a Board Member for the KNVI Professional Association and acting as a Guest Lecturer on Governance, Risk & Compliance at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Offering interim leadership roles in several organizations, Gijs has a robust background in managing information security systems aligned with international standards such as ISO27001 and NIST. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Information Security Management and ongoing Master’s studies in IT Management and Enterprise IT Architecture at the Antwerp Management School.
