Executive Director, Priorities, Planning & Integration, ROM Governors at Royal Ontario Museum

Christie Kirchner has a diverse work history in the arts and culture sector. Christie currently works at the Royal Ontario Museum as the Campaign Director for the ROM Governors. Prior to this role, they held the position of Manager of Operations and Campaign Secretary for the ROM Governors from 2019 to 2022.

Before joining the Royal Ontario Museum, Kirchner worked at the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto Canada as the Grants & Philanthropy Manager from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Artscape, where they held two roles: Executive Assistant from 2016 to 2017 and Fund Development Coordinator from 2014 to 2016.

Kirchner's earlier work experience includes serving as the Art Centre Director at the Alberta Printmakers Society & Artist Proof Gallery from 2009 to 2012.

Christie Kirchner completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) degree at Alberta University of the Arts from 2004 to 2009. Christie then pursued a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree at York University from 2012 to 2014. The field of study for both degrees is unspecified.
