Karla Lhotsky

Director, Stewardship at Royal Ontario Museum

Karla Lhotsky has worked in various roles within the non-profit sector. Karla began their career at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto), Sinai Health System, where they served as a Corporate Affairs Officer from 2006 to 2010. Karla then transitioned to the role of Development Officer, Legacy Giving from 2010 to 2011. Following their time at Mount Sinai, Karla joined the Canadian Cancer Society as a Development Officer, Donor Relations in the Ontario Division from 2011 to 2014. Karla then moved on to the position of Manager, Donor Relations at the National Office from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Karla holds the role of Associate Director, Stewardship & Communications at the ROM Governors at the Royal Ontario Museum since November 2020, where they previously held the position of Manager, Stewardship from 2016 to 2020.

Karla Lhotsky completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from McGill University, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Following this, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in Museology/Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, from 2005 to 2006.
