Manuelita Cherizard

Manuelita Cherizard, MBA, is an experienced human resources leader with a robust background in strategic HR management across various sectors. Currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at the Royal Ontario Museum since February 2021, Manuelita is responsible for aligning HR functions with the museum's strategic priorities. Prior to this role, Manuelita held positions including Chief Talent Officer/CHRO at Groupe Média TFO, where contributions were made to the development of French-language educational audiovisual products, and Owner of MMC Solutions, providing consulting in leadership and talent management. Manuelita also served as Executive Director of HR & Talent Management at TFS - Canada's International School, overseeing comprehensive HR responsibilities, and as Executive Director of Human Resources for CBC/Radio-Canada's English Services, where strategic HR leadership was provided to enhance organizational culture and leadership development. Manuelita holds an MBA in General Management from Concordia University and a Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management from UQAM.
