Mark Heholt

Mark Heholt currently serves as the Director of Policy and Strategy at the Royal Ballet and Opera (formerly Royal Opera House) since March 2021, contributing significantly to the organization's mission of enhancing the cultural life of the nation through exceptional ballet and opera. Previously, Mark held roles as Director and Head of Policy and Strategic Funding at the Royal Opera House, focusing on public funding and advocacy. Mark's prior experience includes leading policy development for ScreenSkills, serving as an Apprenticeship Consultant at The Tech Partnership, and developing sales strategies at Cisco Systems. Mark's early career included various positions within the Department for Work and Pensions as a Senior Civil Servant. Mark holds a Master's degree in Social Policy and Public Administration from Brunel University London and a BA (Hons) in History from the Polytechnic of North London.
