Tom Thompson is an experienced technical manager and audio engineer with extensive expertise in sound engineering for theatrical productions. Currently serving as Technical Manager of the Linbury Theatre at the Royal Opera House since June 2007, Tom has also held the position of Technical Supervisor. With a freelance career dating back to September 1997, Tom has provided audio engineering services across various projects. Previous roles include Senior Technician at Sadler's Wells (2002-2007), Head of Sound at the Center for Performing Arts at GSU (January 1998 - June 1999), and Sound Engineer at Theater on the Lake (June 1998 - September 1998). Educational qualifications include a BA in Sound from Columbia College Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Chinese with Japanese from SOAS University of London.
