Charlotte Smith

Administrator at Royal Philharmonic Society

Charlotte Smith studied music at Durham University, graduating with First-class Honours in 2022. She plays the French horn and conducts, and was involved in a number of university orchestras alongside her studies, both as a musician and on the administrative side. During her time at university, she was especially interested in analysis, with a particular focus on the orchestral music of Amy Beach. In her second and third years at university, she worked as an intern for the English Music Festival, assisting in compiling their programme books and stewarding at their concerts. Charlotte joined the RPS in July 2022, and is looking forward to everything she will learn in the role of Administrator.

Charlotte also enjoys playing the piano and singing, and is currently attempting to teach herself bass guitar.
