James Hood

James Hood is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Tech Enabled Project Delivery at Royal Roads University since February 2015. In this role, James oversees capital and operational tech-enabled delivery, directs significant ERP and Student Information System improvement projects, and has contributed to establishing IT and Data Governance bodies. Previous positions at Royal Roads University include Manager of Planning and Delivery, Learning Technology Systems Analyst, and Learning Technologist, where James implemented agile methodologies and developed innovative technology solutions for educational purposes. Prior experience includes roles as Information Technology Coordinator at Praxis Technical Group, Web Content Coordinator at TimberWest Forest Corp, and various development positions across multiple organizations, coupled with a strong educational background in Digital Media Studies.
