Koen Blomme

Operations Director at Royal Sanders

Koen Blomme has a diverse work experience in the supply chain management field. Koen started their career as a Production Scheduler at the Ieper Household plant in 1988, and later became a Project Manager at the same plant. From 1999 to 2007, Blomme worked as a Supply Chain Manager for the Ieper Household Department, where they were responsible for administration, costing, procurement, and warehouse operations. In 2008, they became the Central Supply Chain Manager at McBride, introducing best practices in all their plants and designing the S&OP process. Blomme then transitioned to the role of S&OP Supply Manager, accountable for the design and implementation of the S&OP supply process. Koen later served as the Supply Chain Manager for the Ieper Household and Ieper Personal Care sites before becoming the Group Supply Chain Manager for McBride's Personal Care and Aerosol sites in 2016. Currently, Blomme works as the Operations Director for Royal Sanders.

Koen Blomme's education history is as follows:

Koen Blomme started their education at Bisschoppelijk College Veurne in 1978 and completed their degree in Maths and sciences (Wetenschappelijke A) in 1984.

Koen then pursued their higher education at Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent, from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Electricity - Automation.

In 1994, Koen Blomme attended CKZ, where they studied Quality Systems Management. Koen completed this program in 1996.

From 1997 to 1998, they enrolled in a program at PICS, where they focused on integrated production and inventory management.

In 2006, Koen Blomme attended McBride Internal, where they became a fully qualified Internal BPM Auditor. This program lasted for one year.

In 2008, they pursued a program at Amelior and obtained a degree as an Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2000.

In 2012, they attended Wellingtone and completed a program in Managing Projects Successfully.

Lastly, Koen Blomme attended Vlerick Business School from 2010 to 2014, where they participated in the Supply Chain Forum. No degree was specified for this program.
