Misty Witt RT R MR

Misty Witt has over 25 years of experience in the radiology field. Misty has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Misty worked at Radiology Consultants Inc. and Central Va. Imaging LLC from 1998 to 2022, where they served as an IT Systems Administrator and Chief Compliance Officer. In this position, they were responsible for implementing and supporting medical imaging applications and systems, managing radiology systems and interfaces, and ensuring maximum interoperability. Misty also had a role as a Clinical Imaging Director, where they managed the daily operations and management of the radiology department, served as an IT administrator and trainer, and had strong software knowledge and utilization. Additionally, they held positions as an Assistant Clinical Chief Technologist and Chief MRI technologist, Chief MRI Technologist, MRI Technologist, and Radiologic Technologist, where they demonstrated excellent patient care skills, managed the MRI department, collaborated with radiologists, and performed diagnostic procedures. Currently, Misty works as a Configuration Lead at Royal Solutions Group, LLC, where their focus is on IT (PACS, RIS, VR, EA, Teleradiology) and Compliance (OSHA, HIPAA, PCI) to ensure maximum interoperability across radiology supporting systems.

Misty Witt RT R MR completed their education in a sequential manner. Misty first attended Central Virginia Community College from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Radiology. Subsequently, from 2019 to 2023, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security and Computer Forensics at Averett University. In addition to their academic studies, Misty Witt also obtained various certifications including Introduction to the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam, Office 2016 and Office 365 New Features, PowerPoint 2016 Power Shortcuts, and Project Management Simplified, all obtained in October 2016 through LinkedIn.
