Kristian Romano

Chair West Midlands Local Group at Royal Statistical Society

Kristian Romano has served in various significant roles within the Royal Statistical Society as Chair, Committee Member, and Secretary of the West Midlands Local Group since January 2021. Kristian is a Research Fellow in the Applied Statistics & Risk Unit at the University of Warwick, where work also includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and involvement in the Doctoral Training Center Review Steering Group. Additionally, Kristian has experience as a BIDSA Visiting Student at Università Bocconi and served as a Fellow in the Economic Society for Bocconi Students. Academically, Kristian is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics at the University of Warwick, following a Master of Science in Economics and Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in the same field at Università Bocconi. Further educational experiences include an undergraduate exchange program at Northwestern University and a summer school in advanced statistics.
