Ailsa Anderson MRICS MRTPI currently serves as the Convenor of the RTPI Grampian Chapter at the Royal Town Planning Institute, a position held since January 2024. With extensive experience at Aberdeenshire Council since August 2014, Ailsa has progressed through several roles, including Team Leader for Planning Information & Delivery, Senior Policy Planner, Planner in Development Management, and Policy Planner. Prior to this, Ailsa worked as a Land Agent at Strutt & Parker from December 2013 to July 2014 and began a career in planning as a Graduate Trainee (Policy Assistant) at Scottish Land & Estates between March 2011 and November 2013. Ailsa holds an MA (Hons) in Rural Surveying and Spatial Planning from the University of Aberdeen, completed in 2010, and received earlier education at Alford Academy and Dunecht Primary School.
