Andrea King

Andrea King is an experienced planning policy professional currently serving as Principal Planning Policy Officer at Northumberland County Council since January 2018, focusing on the preparation of the Local Plan and housing policy. Previously held roles include Senior Planning Officer for Sunderland City Council and Principal (Forward Planning) at South Tyneside Council, where significant contributions were made to local development frameworks and planning strategies. Andrea also actively participates in the Newcastle Vikings Handball Club as a treasurer, media lead, and player, and serves as a volunteer member of the RTPI North East Regional Planning Policy Group.
