Andrew Coleman FRTPI is a seasoned professional in spatial planning and environmental assessment, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer on the MSc Town Planning course at the University of Brighton since January 2017 and as a doctoral student. In addition, Andrew is a member of the Regional Activities Committee for the Royal Town Planning Institute since December 2021. As Principal at Coleman Planning and Environmental, established in October 2016, Andrew provides consultancy services focused on sustainability and climate resilience. Andrew's extensive experience includes roles at the Environment Agency, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Planning Advisor to Environmental Assessment Manager, influencing national planning policy and leading strategic environmental assessments. Andrew's educational background includes a Master's degree in Environmental Assessment from the University of Brighton and a Bachelor's degree in Town Planning Studies from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
