Currently serving as Principal City Planner at Transport for London and Team Leader for Local Plans at the Greater London Authority, Monika Jain also holds a Senior Strategic Planner position at the Greater London Authority and has been a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since March 2020. Prior roles include Senior Lead Urban Designer at the NYC Department of City Planning and Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Monika Jain's career began as an Urban Designer at the NYC Department of City Planning, following architectural work at Grossman Design Group and an internship with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in Los Angeles. Academic credentials include a Masters in Planning from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
