Rebecca Burrows is a Heritage Consultant at Donald Insall Associates since April 2023 and serves as the Historic Building Representative for the City of York with the York Georgian Society since December 2021. Rebecca is MRTPI accredited and IHBC conservation accredited. Additional roles include membership on the Fabric Advisory Committees for Chester Cathedral and Southwell Minster and leadership as Head of Heritage and Townscape at Lanpro until April 2023. With prior experience as an Associate and Senior Heritage Consultant at Purcell, Rebecca has worked on Conservation Management Plans and Heritage Impact Assessments. Previous positions include Historic Churches Support Officer at the Diocese of Lincoln and Historic Environment Casework Assistant at English Heritage. Rebecca holds an MSc in Urban and Rural Planning from Leeds Beckett University, an MSc in Historic Conservation from Oxford Brookes University, and a BA in History from Royal Holloway, University of London.
