Ruth Richards

Ruth Richards possesses extensive experience in urban planning and education, currently serving as a Complaints Investigator at the Royal Town Planning Institute since December 2018. Ruth's professional background includes being self-employed as a freelance academic and town planner since April 2018, alongside a significant tenure at London South Bank University, where Ruth held roles including Director of Education and Student Experience and Head of Department of Urban Environment and Leisure Studies. Ruth's earlier positions include Planning & Housing Subject Leader at the Royal Town Planning Institute and Director at Planning Aid for London. Educational qualifications include a PG Diploma in Town Planning and a PG Diploma in Urban Policy Studies from South Bank Polytechnic, as well as a BSc in Maths and Economics from the University of Surrey.
