Sue Bridge

Immediate Past President at Royal Town Planning Institute

Sue Bridge has extensive experience in urban planning and development, currently serving as the Immediate Past President and previously the President of the Royal Town Planning Institute since January 2023. As the Director of Sue Bridge Consultancy Ltd since September 2014, Sue promotes a variety of strategic development projects for Davidsons Developments Ltd. Prior to this, Sue was the Head of Planning at Northampton Borough Council from September 2008 to September 2014, and served as the Director of the Planning and Development Division at Bellway Homes from 1996 to 2008. Earlier in the career, Sue worked as a Senior Planning Officer for Newcastle City Council from 1987 to 1996. Sue holds a BSc Hons in Urban Land Economics from Sheffield Polytechnic and a Post Graduate Diploma in Town Planning from Sunderland Polytechnic.
